Privacy statement

BoomTree Live takes your privacy seriously. This statement explains which personal data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. We never process more data than we need and we never sell your data. This is a translation of the Dutch original; in case of any difference, the Dutch version applies.
Who is responsible for your data?

What data do we process?
Depending on how you contact us, we process:
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and the content of your message.
- Email: whatever you share in your message, such as your name.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details are processed by our hosting provider in server logs, for security and troubleshooting.
- Orders: once the webshop is live we will also process order, delivery and invoicing data. This statement will be updated before the shop opens.
Why do we process it?
- To answer your question or message. Basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
- To perform an agreement, for example an order. Basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep our website secure and working. Basis: legitimate interest.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax retention rules. Basis: legal obligation.
How long do we keep it?
Messages through the contact form or by email are kept for up to two years after the last contact, unless an agreement follows from them. Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Server logs are typically kept by our hosting provider for a few weeks.
Who do we share it with?
We only share your data with parties that help us deliver our services, and only as far as necessary. We have data processing agreements with them:
- Our hosting provider, for running the website and email.
- Once the webshop is live: the payment provider and the carrier delivering your order.
Cookies
This website does not place tracking or advertising cookies. We only store your cookie choice in your own browser so we do not have to ask again on every visit. Fonts are served from our own server, not from an external service. Our cookie policy has the details.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it and request your data in a portable format. Send your request to info@boomtreelive.com. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security
The website is only available over a secure connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful processing. If you think something is wrong with your data, let us know at info@boomtreelive.com.
Changes
We update this statement when our services or the law give reason to. The date at the top shows when we last did so.
